Built the new Port Coquitlam Community Centre, one of the premier recreation facilities in British Columbia.
Made swimming at city’s outdoor pools free and expanded recreation financial assistance programs for residents.
Invested in sports facilities and recreation opportunities that make Port Coquitlam one of the best places in British Columbia to raise a family, including upgrades at Gates Park and a new multi-sport facility being built on the north side. Added new parks, playgrounds, dog parks, trails, and public spaces across the city.
Completed a major transformation of downtown public spaces and revitalized Leigh Square and Veterans Park into vibrant community gathering places, and attracted new businesses to our community.
Expanded curbside recycling services, including new glass collection service, and launched a new free large-item pick up service.
